DAYTONA BEACH, FL – A motorcyclist went to the hospital in critical condition Thursday night after colliding with a passenger vehicle at an intersection in Daytona Beach, reports Click Orlando.
The incident happened around 6:34 p.m. in the northbound lanes of South Nova Road at Ridgecrest Drive, which is in the Daytona Promenade.
Police have not yet disclosed what caused the motorcycle and the passenger vehicle to collide.
Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear if the driver of the vehicle sustained injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
