PALM COAST, FL –  A 68-year-old man died Friday afternoon when he collided with another vehicle at a busy intersection in Palm Coast, reports The Daytona Beach News Journal.

The incident happened about 2:09 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 100 and Bulldog Drive, which is just north of Flagler Executive Airport.

The investigation thus far indicates that the driver of an eastbound SUV failed to yield the right of way and turned left in front of the westbound motorcyclist on State Road 100. The motorcyclist crashed into the SUV and died from injuries sustained in the accident.

The driver of the SUV did not sustain injuries in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
