April 3, 2023

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 47-year-old man died Saturday after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on a busy roadway in West Palm Beach, reports  WPTV.

The incident happened just after 2 a.m. in the area of 5400 Okeechobee Boulevard, which is west of Haverhill Road and east of Pantropic Power Inc.

Police say a westbound 2016 Suzuki motorcycle veered into the lane of a 2011 Honda Civic and struck the side of the sedan.

The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died at the scene. Authorities identified him as John Hosfeld of West Palm Beach.

The driver of the Honda Civic was not hurt in the accident.

A 2011 Honda Accord may also have been involved in the collision. That driver was also uninjured.

A full investigation is underway.
