JACKSONVILLE, FL – A motorcyclist died Wednesday afternoon after colliding with an SUV on a busy roadway in western Jacksonville, reports News4Jax.
The incident happened just after 4:30 p.m. on Jammes Road, which is between I-295 and Wesconnett Boulevard.
The investigation thus far indicates that the southbound motorcyclist collided with the northbound SUV as the latter vehicle turned left across Jammes Road.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident. Police have not yet released the identity of the victim.
The driver of the SUV did not sustain injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
