DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – A 36-year-old motorcyclist died last Wednesday in Deerfield Beach after his bike collided with another vehicle at a busy intersection, reports Boca Post.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest 41st Way and West Hillsboro Boulevard, which is just southwest of the Willow Bay Senior Resort.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound 2023 Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle collided with a 2013 Hyundai Veloster in the intersection as the latter vehicle turned left from eastbound Hillsboro Boulevard onto NW 41st Way.
The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified the victim as Mitchel Kronish from Boca Raton.
No additional injuries have been mentioned in connection to the accident. A full investigation is underway.
