BROOKSVILLE, FL – A 58-year-old motorcyclist died last Friday after colliding with a box truck at a busy intersection in Brooksville, reports WFLA News 8.
The incident happened at 8:43 p.m. near the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and Medical Center Drive, which is just northeast of Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center.
The investigation indicates that the eastbound motorcyclist collided with the box truck as the truck made a U-turn onto the eastbound side of Cortez Boulevard.
The motorcyclist died after transport to the hospital. Police have not yet released his name to the public.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident.
