MIAMI, FL – A 50-year-old motorcyclist died on Thursday after a hit-and-run driver struck him at a busy intersection in the Flagami area, reports Local 10 News.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 47th Avenue and West Flagler Street, which is near the Miami Animal Hospital.
The investigation thus far indicates that the driver of a red Toyota struck the motorcycle after making a left turn at the intersection. The Toyota then crashed into a building.
The driver of the Toyota fled the scene on foot. Police think he is a white man in his 30s.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident, Authorities identified him as Edgar Edmundo Sarduy Suarez.
