TARPON SPRINGS, FL – A 63-year-old motorcyclist died on Thursday after colliding with two vehicles at a busy intersection in northern Pinellas County, reports Pasco News.

The incident happened at the intersection of Anclote Boulevard and Oakmont Avenue, which is just southwest of Lake Nash.

The investigation indicates that the westbound motorcyclist crashed into a northbound SUV in the intersection after the driver of the SUV neglected to stop. After striking the SUV, the motorcyclist then struck a vehicle that was stopped in the southbound lane of Oakmont Avenue.

The motorcycle rider died after transport to a local hospital.

It is unclear if either of the other drivers sustained injuries in the crash.
