SANFORD, FL – Police are seeking tips regarding a hit-and-run driver that struck and injured a motorcyclist in Sanford earlier this month before fleeing the scene, reports Orlando News.
The incident happened on Thursday, February 2, around 8:15 p.m. in the area of U.S. 17-92 and I-4, which is just southwest of the Sanford River Walk.
Police say a red or burgundy sedan struck a southbound motorcyclist as the sedan driver turned left from the highway onto the entrance ramp to I-4 eastbound. The sedan then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
