KISSIMMEE, FL – A 56-year-old motorcyclist died on Saturday afternoon after a vehicle struck him at an intersection in northwest Kissimmee, reports Orlando-News.Com.
The incident happened around 3:36 p.m. in the area of Poinciana Boulevard and Calypso Cay Way, which is just northwest of the Calypso Cay Resort.
The investigation indicates that a southbound 2015 Toyota Corolla began to turn left from Poinciana Boulevard onto Calypso Cay Way when it entered the path of a 2007 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle and struck it.
The motorcyclist died after transport to Osceola Regional Medical Center.
Two passengers from the Corolla sustained non-critical injuries. The driver of the Corolla was unhurt in the crash.
